OAT Supports International Rover Challenge at the Spreewald circuit
As a sponsor, Otto Alte-Teigeler GmbH (OAT) is supporting the 1st International Rover Challenge organized by the International Space Education Institute (ISEI) in Leipzig.
During the competition, young aspiring engineers will put their self-developed rovers and electric vehicles to the test in three disciplines: range, speed and off-road capability. The vehicles compete in three categories: human-powered, hybrid and fully electric.
The competitions will take place from 11 to 15 August 2026 at the Spreewaldring and at various locations in Leipzig. In addition to teams from Leipzig, international participants will also take part, including teams from Istanbul Technical University.
By supporting this project, OAT is helping to promote technical education, hands-on STEM development and innovative mobility concepts. The young participants gain valuable practical experience in areas such as engineering, CAD, 3D printing, electronics and vehicle construction.
